If you can dream it, it can happen.  We believe that every girl has a dream and that each girl’s dream may sometimes be hidden deep inside her, requiring time, space and some guidance to become a reality.  We believe that our girls’ dreams make the world a better place by allowing us to imagine what things could be like and how things should be.  We are committed to bringing about each girl’s unique and beautiful story, and providing a helping hand to assist each girl in making her dream a reality.

Respect for Self

We believe that every person is a person of value and worth.  Our value comes from our personal worth and is not determined by what others think of us.  Each of us is more precious than gold and jewels, so we must treat ourselves as if we are priceless. No one can take our self-respect away from us.  Even though we may have done things without respect for our bodies, mind or hearts, that does not mean that we cannot change our minds and actions to take back our self-respect.

Respect for Others

We believe that we should treat others the way we want to be treated. What goes around will come around, and we want to sow love and hope in the world.  We tell our girls that if they want to change the way they are being treated, they must work on the way they treat others. 

Fulfilling our Highest Purpose

We believe that no one’s life is an accident.  There is a great hope and future ahead of each of our girls.  Their purpose is where their greatest skills and passion meets the world’s greatest need.  In searching for their highest purpose, we advise our girls to look inside themselves and to seek counsel from those who care about them, but to ultimately follow their own convictions and beliefs.  We believe that our choices (such as what we do and say, who we spend time with and how we spend our time) will become our reality.  If our girls make wise choices, each and every one of them can become their best and highest self.

Our Actions Have Effects

It’s amazing and true that every action and every choice has an effect.  We believe that if our girls study or work hard and use our talents, they will be successful.  We believe that taking the time to learn new things and develop ourselves will make us smarter and give us better choices in life.  If we smile at people around us, many will smile back at us.  On the other hand, if we break the law, we will be punished, and if we don’t work, we won’t have the means to support ourselves.  We believe in making choices that have good effects!

Strengthen our Families

We believe that our families are very special people in our lives.   Because we have the power to make choices, we can also choose what kinds of families we will create in the future.

Be a Friend

We believe that good friends play an important role and have positive influences in our lives.  The best way to find and keep a good friend is to first be a good friend. We believe that we should choose friends who build us up and look out for our best interests.  We stress the importance of being wise in one’s choice of friends.  Friends are people who provide encouragement or wisdom in our lives. Real friends stand up for each other, and care for one another during hard times. Real friends are brave enough to speak the honest truth to one another in a spirit of love, even when the truth hurts.  Real friends want what is best for us, not what is best for them. 

Having Humility and Expanding Our Hearts

We all make mistakes.  We believe that nobody is perfect, but Beautiful People are willing to say sorry when we are wrong, and learn how to do it better the next time.  We can all learn from one another. When pride stops us from saying sorry, we allow pride to keep our hearts small.  A big heart is a heart that forgives and realises that failure and success are never permanent.  We can only grow when we let go of pain, wrongs and loss and let our hearts be filled anew.

Speaking Up

There are times when we see or feel something wrong has happened.  A wrong may have happened to us or to someone we know.  We encourage our girls to speak up if they need help.  It is better to tell someone so that help can be given than to keep quiet and let a person suffer.  We believe that respect for others and yourself means you have the right and a duty to speak up. 

Having Dignity and Pride in Work
We believe that there is no such thing as work that is useless or “below you.”  Everyone who is able work for a living that provides for herself and for others around her is worthy of great respect.
