Beautiful People is led by a Steering Committee of volunteers who work closely with youth workers and administrators in Beautiful People’s Partner Organisations. The Steering Committee is supported by an Administrative Support Team with responsibility for programme development, branding and marketing, volunteer management and communications. Further support for Beautiful People's activities is provided by a Fund-Raising Team. The Events Team organises regular Beautiful People events, including Saturday workshops, camp and volunteer get-togethers. There are also volunteers in the Business Enterprise Team whose role is to explore and manage the creation of small businesses to encourage social enterprise and enterpreneurial opportunities for teen girls. Most of our volunteers are deployed as Big Sisters in one of our Neighbourhood Teams. Beautiful People currently has four Neighbourhood Teams – Ang Mo Kio, East Coast, Ghim Moh and Tiong Bahru. Each Neighbourhood Team has a mix of Big Sisters and youth workers, and is tasked with working with girls in designated areas. Beautiful People has a dedicated Training Support Team which works closely with the Neighbourhood Teams to ensure all our Big Sisters obtain the training and support they need to be effective mentors.
