Beautiful People matches the expertise and talents of passionate individuals who can teach a useful skill or fun hobby to teen girls looking for productive and meaningful ways to spend their time.  We also need volunteers with a passion for working with the girls in a Big Sister or mentoring capacity. We are happy to work both with individual volunteers, on a regular or ad-hoc basis on special projects, and community organisations.

We are currently seeking:

WORKSHOP LEADERS
Do you have a skill to contribute? Do you have a fun hobby you’d love to share with others? Beautiful People needs you and your talents! We invite participation by professionals who are willing to share their expertise or skills in relevant areas to the girls at Saturday afternoon workshops or at our mid-year and end-of-year camps.  Past workshops have covered a wide range of topics, including Legal Literacy, Health Issues, Voice (Singing), Skincare and Makeup, Italian Cooking, Deportment and various sport activities.  To register as a workshop leader, please email us with details of your proposed workshop.
Commitment:
  • Ad-hoc
  • 2-3 hours on a Saturday (to conduct workshop)
  • Must attend pre-workshop briefing by Steering Committee on Beautiful People's goals, values and philosophy (1 hour)
