THE ORGANISATION

Beautiful People is a volunteer program aimed at inspiring, educating and encouraging teen girls from shelters and youth service programs to be their best and highest selves. Beautiful People reaches out through organizing fun activities, camps and life-skills workshops to befriend and encourage the girls. We do not offer pity but friendship and a challenge to make good choices and rise above their circumstances with a stronger sense of self-worth, dignity and purpose. Our ultimate goal is to translate these life-skills into dignified jobs, stable family lives, and active participation in their communities.

THE OPPORTUNITY

If you are aged 21 and older looking for a meaningful way to spend your time together, come visit our Big Sisters’ Orientation and learn what it’s like to volunteer with Beautiful People and what's on the horizon and how you can join a neighborhood Team of Big Sisters. Individuals are also welcome.
