The joy of mentorship

I have known Karen since she was 13 years old. She’s now 26. Can’t believe how fast time has flown. We have a Big Sister-Little Sister kind of relationship. While most of the time this has been smooth sailing, we have had some rough patches too, but I always make sure Karen knows I am here for her at all times.

It was a proud moment for me when I attended her university graduation last year. She has blossomed and grown into a beautiful woman, and is in a wonderful relationship. She has also helped out in ad hoc events at Beautiful People, and has completed training sessions with Beautiful People with the hope of being a mentor herself some day. I am glad to see Karen paying it forward to help others now.
