Families for Families was launched as a reading programme (Baby Readers) in 2014, when we found out that our mentees were becoming mothers - as teenage mothers, single mothers, and married mothers. As the programme progressed, this tight-knit group of mothers has grown beyond reading and evolved to become a community of support for mentors and mentees in various aspects of their parenting journey.
Mentors and mentees meet in person according to their personal schedules but the strongest element remains to be its 24/7 Whatsapp Group where support is accessible to our mentees when needed.
