Little Giant Steps is Beautiful People’s mentoring programme for young children aged 7 to 12 years. Mentors provide social and emotional support to their young mentees who have experienced trauma in their lives.
Some of the activities include learning opportunities focusing on the five senses, home visits check ins and fun camps - all of which seek to exemplify the mentees’ courage, determination and values necessary for healthy growth and development while strengthening mentor and mentee relationship. In December 2018, children from both Big Love and Gracehaven went on a discovery trip to Pulau Ubu, where they learnt to work as a team to overcome various obstacles.
